WPA International Congress "Treatments in Psychiatry: An Update" Florence (Italy), November 10-13, 2004
The International Congress of the World Psychiatric Association for the year 2004 will take place in Florence (Italy) from 10 to 13 November. This is expected to be one of the main psychiatric events of the year, with a number of participants of about 5,000. The Congress is aimed to provide a comprehensive and high-quality update on all evidence-based treatments available today for the various mental disorders. The ingredients of the Congress will be the following: a) 14 plenary update lectures; b) two special lectures; c) 36 interactive symposia; d) 12 advanced courses; e) 6 forums; f) symposia organized by the various components of the WPA (sections, zones, committees); g) new research sessions; h) poster sessions; i) sponsored events.
